Life on Earth is just the tip of the iceberg of its full potential. Your life here right now is like the passes before the goals in a soccer match, the tests before the final exam, and the blueprint before the final, complete building. No matter how long you wish to live, you will inevitably die. But it won't be the end of the road, GOD has prepared a special place for us to live forever. (John 14:2-3) Many of us understand we will die eventually but it doesn't seem right, it doesn't feel that it is supposed to happen, Why? Because GOD made us desire immortality to prepare us for eternity with Him.
When we think more about the fact that life here is not all that there is, the numerous, big offers on Earth that once seemed important now seem unnecessary and trivial, acknowledging that they won't last forever (Matthew 6:19-21) But when we think that Earth is the start and the end, we make choices without thinking about the effects, it becomes easier to fall into temptation and totally forget why we are living. Life here is less than a fraction of a second compared to the afterlife. We must act as if every day is the last day of our lives on Earth to make wiser and more moral choices for GOD to smile and know us. Thank you.
